Antonella Mantovani was born in Limassol in 1971 to Benito and Sonia Mantovani. She is married to Michael Hadjiconstantas and they have a daughter.

She attended the Foley’s Grammar and Junior school in Limassol before gaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Languages from the University of Cambridge and completing her postgraduate studies Master of Arts in European Politics & Administration at the College of Europe in Belgium.

After an internship in the European Commission, she returned in 1996 and has since been working in the family company, A.L Mantovani & Sons Ltd, mainly looking after its Travel & Tourism departments.

In May 2016 she won the seat of Representative of the Latin Community in the parliamentary elections. She is putting her name forward for re-election to the same seat in the May 2021 parliamentary elections.
