Antonella Mantovani was born in Limassol in 1971 to Benito and Sonia Mantovani. She is married to Michael Hadjiconstantas and they have a daughter.
She attended the Foley's Grammar and Junior school in Limassol before gaining her degree from the University of Cambridge and completing her postgraduate studies at the College of Europe in Belgium.
After an internship in the European Commission, she returned in 1996 and has since been working in the family company, A.L Mantovani & Sons Ltd, mainly looking after its Travel & Tourism departments.
In May 2016 she won the seat of Representative of the Latin Community in the parliamentary elections. She is putting her name forward for re-election to the same seat in the May 2021 parliamentary elections.
